Vixen Vintage is giving away a gorgeous hat!

By now I know that many of you have already read about the fantastic giveaway contest that’s going on at this very moment over at Vixen Vintage, but in case you hadn’t yet, I simply had to tell you about it.

Known the web over for her impeccable vintage style (and her adoration of headwear), Solanah herself has handcrafted a charming chapeau that is sure sway even the most steadfast of “I’m not a hat person” fans into entering, whilst making those of us who love vintage hats jump for joy over the chance to win this fantastic creation.

{Solanah modeling her lovely handmade hat. Can't you just imagine how much fun it would be to wear?}

If you’d like to enter for your chance to call this hat your own, pop by Vixen Vintage before August 18th and leave a comment on the post about the contest. If you create a post on your own site/blog about the giveaway and then return to let Solanah know you’ve done so, your name will be entitled to a second entry in the draw.

Best of luck to everyone who enters, and thank you so much to Solanah for creating this lovely cherry bedecked hat, it’s timelessly beautiful!

  7. What a lovely hat! I entered just now of course ;) You'd be the perfect person to wear it though!

    Thank you for your concern but actually Seattle has been a little overcast this week and the time of its extreme heat was while we were in Colorado in the cool rockies. Even so, the heat would be normal compared to our familiar Dubai weather!

  8. @ Keith, thank you very much. Over all I had a really nice weekend, which capped off with the single most incredible lightening storm I've ever seen in my life on Sunday evening, thanks! Hope you're was terrific, too!

    @ Lagelle, hi sweetie, I'm very sorry, my email for this site wasn't configured properly (just discovered this yesterday), and I'm afraid that I didn't receive your message. I've commented over at your beautiful blog with more details, and truly apologize again for the email issue.

    @ Cait, I'm sure it would love beautiful on you, too, my dear! How fortunate that you were able to escape the searing heat that hit Seattle. Very true, though, I can imagine that Dubai is immensely warm quite a lot of the time.

    Many thanks to you each for your lovely comments and good luck wishes!

    Big hugs - and best of luck to you all, too!
