Vintage Holiday Shopping Guide: Gifts for Home Decor Lovers

While most people enjoy the ongoing act (and art!) of decorating their personal space, be it a bachelor apartment or a sprawling villa, in a way that brings them both joy and contentment, some take this part time hobby and turn into an ongoing passion that consumes their thoughts and shopping trips. No matter where on the scale the home decor lover in your life fits, chances are they’d welcome a wonderful, thoughtful gift for their house.

The items below have an inherently old school feel to them, some are whimsical others are resplendently chic, all are likely to be type of decor pieces that would bring a giant smile to the face of anyone on your holiday shopping list who loves to adorn their home with elements that speak to their adoration of vintage.

  25. I think the way you decorate or organize your living space can help create a certain kind of atmosphere. Right now I'm still at the end of moving and so not everything is in it's "rightful" place and I feel on edge about it and like I can't start a project until my craft area is just right. I don't know if that makes sense, but it does to me :)

  31. Good morning, wonderful dears, giant thanks go out to each of you for your comments on this holiday shopping guide. It was nothing short of a joy to put together (don't even get me start though on the will power it took not to pick up a gift or two from this very list for myself ;D), and I am already looking forward to the guides I'll hopefully be able to put out for the 2010 Christmas season.

Many thanks again, everyone, I appreciate your comments to no end!

Giant hugs & Friday well wishes,
    ♥ Jessica

  32. It is always hard to buy for home decor. It is so hard to judge their personalities.
