I'm really hoping that we continue to get treated to such until at least the end of October. That might be a bit optimistic, but it does happen some years, so you never know. :)

How exciting that you've been thinking a lot about your cold weather knitting and sewing plans lately. Awesome idea :) Oh, we could eat chili with sweet bell peppers (orange & yellow for Autumn)!! Seriously, my husband thinks chili is ONLY a topping for hot dogs, french fries and not a meal. I would love to read your answers to this post and my eyes lit up like fireworks when I read that you might be starting up a blog again. That would be incredible! It does take an immense about of time, work and effort though, as you know first hand, so I totally understand either way.

What a great possible blog name!!! Love it! I wonder though, if you still had that blog when you entered the next decade of your life, would you wish that it wasn't tied to your (own) fifties? Just a friendly thought, of course. Perhaps something like "Fifties for Life" or "Fifties Forever" would sidestep that potential situation.

Oh my word, I'm truly sorry that you've been dealing with so much this month and that your beautiful car was damaged by a reckless driver. My gosh, that must have been a terrible thing to deal with. It breaks my heart that you were injured in this accident (thank you very much for letting me know about it). You poor, poor thing. What a horrible experience to deal with. Reading about this accident made me cry (seriously) for you. Please, please take things as easy a possible. Rest, pamper yourself and try to to take things super easy.

You will be in my thoughts and heart around the clock. I'm always here if you need someone to talk to about anything.

Endless gentle hugs & healing wishes,
♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3423410690702297063.post-70161969216715733082016-09-28T08:46:56.405-07:002016-09-28T08:46:56.405-07:00Oh, if I had a blog I would answer these questions...Oh, if I had a blog I would answer these questions right away, but I don't. I have lately been thinking a lot about starting a new blog, I even have a name made up: Fifty in the Fifties, ha! I would only write it in English this time then, not to double the work as I did last time. But then I think again, I think I have forgotten the hard work and my damn dedication, so I don't think I will.

I am seriously behind - again. Bad things have happened here in Denmark. A week ago a woman drove into my dear vintage car and crashed it. Sob! :( I got a chock and a whiplash which hurts a lot, and my back hurts too, so I get treatments and am not at my job at least for this week. She was very arrogant and wouldn't give me neither her name nor her address, but fortunately the license plate is enough for insurance here in DK. But it was not a great experience. And I was on my way to a cosy dinner at son and his lovely girlfriend to see their elegant home. That's life, ups and downs. So I am at home and trying to make the best of it, crocheting and reading. No pc and no iPad, because I cannot bend my neck. Enough whining, just wanted to let you know. I hope everything is perfectly fine in your end of the world and I look very much forward to seeing and reading all your autumn and Halloween posts. Have a lovely day, dear. :)SANNEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12973437247117000140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3423410690702297063.post-51143940803554299842016-09-28T08:26:57.080-07:002016-09-28T08:26:57.080-07:00That is a seriously awesome compliment, honey. I'm all but addicted to buying fall candles and with the exception of the pumpkin cheesecake one mentioned here, really do burn most of them (often quite quickly). I'm a huge candle user in general (something many folks might not know about), but no season makes me more excited on that front than autumn. Same here! Or Winnie - or really, any character from Hocus Pocus. Doing so one year is seriously on my bucket list. :)

Tons of hugs & happy Halloween countdown wishes,
♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3423410690702297063.post-21934869791539002182016-09-28T08:16:36.232-07:002016-09-28T08:16:36.232-07:00It is Sarah - good memory! Sarah is a super close second, but for me, of the three Sanderson Sisters, Winnifred wins it for me. They're all completely awesome though. One of my longest standing Halloween dreams, if you will, has been to commission a seamstress to make me a costume of any of the three witches, but most likely Winnifred's. I know it wouldn't come inexpensively (nor should a custom made piece), but some year, I truly do hope to tuck away enough to make it happen. :)

Oodles of hugs & happy Halloween countdown wishes,
♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3423410690702297063.post-89349750745938974712016-09-28T02:56:25.028-07:002016-09-28T02:56:25.028-07:00I love this post, Jessica! I know from my time living in Ireland, that many of the elements so integral to autumn (in recent decades at least) here in North America are hard, if not impossible, to find in much (or all) of Europe. Perhaps you could order some online? I personally feel that a huge part of the reason why such was the case was because they didn't bring the US selection and pricing (or comparable pricing) to Canada. They sold much of the same items as Walmart, but often at steeper prices, so a lot of people just stuck with Walmart, Superstore and other chains with lower prices. We're so monopolized up here. It would have been great if Target, even if it wasn't the same as the US version, could have stuck around and/or if other US chains of the same general nature quite literally opened shop here in Canada. Even having Kmart back again would be welcome, particularly after Zellers folded a few years ago. Hmm, can you tell I've got strong views on this subject? :D

Wishing you an absolutely beautiful autumn,
♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3423410690702297063.post-45626297979925404572016-09-27T11:26:44.643-07:002016-09-27T11:26:44.643-07:00How wonderful that go go wild for autumn as well. ...How wonderful that go go wild for autumn as well.
