Back in April I had the pleasure of sharing about an exciting new Australian vintage style/reproduction fashion company called 1950 Glam with all of you in this vintage outfit post. In that entry I mentioned that, come the sunny days of June, I'd be holding a giveaway with this company and I'm tickled pink to announce that the day for such has arrived!
If you're not familiar with 1950s Glam yet, I encourage you to read my positive review of the company and their products in that post, so as to get to know them better. Just to briefly recap however, 1950s Glam was recently founded by two stylish ladies in Australia who wanted to bring more old school glamour to the online shopping world via the ever-expanding selection of affordable mid-century style dresses that they offer.
In addition to the fashions themselves being well priced, 1950s Glam provides free worldwide shipping on all orders, regardless of size or where they're headed to, which is a true rarity in any online shopping context, let alone a vintage reproduction settings.
My snazzy royal blue mid-century style dress is the first that I've had the pleasure of owning from 1950s Glam, but I can say without a sliver of a doubt that it - much like the friendly, wonderful interactions I've had with this company's customer service team - is a total joy. Well made, comfortable, classic and powerfully glamorous - as one might expect from a site with the very word "glam" in their name.
There's a swoon worthy assortment of vintage and pinup style dresses to be had on 1950s Glam's website, many of which I'd happily add to my closet in a heartbeat. Today though, the focus is not on my wardrobe, but rather enhancing one of yours care of this exciting giveaway.
The lovely folks at 1950s Glam have super generously offered to provide one lucky Chronically Vintage reader with the chance to win absolutely any product on their website. Isn't that awesomely kind and sweet of them to do?
{From top left to bottom right: Audrey Belted Tropical Floral Swing Dress | Blue Rose Swing Dress | Blue and White Tea Dress | Vintage Fruity Floral Swing Dress}
Above are four of the 100+ different dresses that 1950s Glam currently has in stock at the time of writing - each of which strikes me as being especially well suited to the summer months that we're heading into here in the northern hemisphere. There are dozens more sensational frocks to be had on their site, and I highly encourage you to check this budding Australian e-tailer out.
Giveaway details:
As mentioned above, this giveaway is for the prize of any dress of the winner's choosing from 1950's Glam's current online inventory.
It is open to participants worldwide and will run from today's date (June 13, 2016) until 11:59 PST on Monday June 20, 2016. The winner will be drawn using Rafflecopter's random selector tool and contacted (by me) shortly thereafter with further details pertaining to claiming your prize.
If you'd like to enter this fabulously fun giveaway (and how can any old school fashion fan not want to?) you can do so via as many of the following nine different Rafflecopter entry methods as you would like. The more methods that you enter with, the greater your odds of winning become.
The only one that is necessary to take part in this contest is for you to visit 1950s Glam's website and then come back here to tell me what one of the dresses there is that you might like to put your prize towards (please note, you are not obliged to select this particular garment if you win and can pick absolutely any dress you wish as your prize).
Should you happen to have any questions about this giveaway, please don't hesitate to contact me via email anytime.

ReplyDeleteAs my alltime favourite colour is Royal Blue my first choice would've been the dress you modelled so beautifully, Jessica. It seems to have been discontinued , however, so I will concur with Melissa and opt for the Audrey tartan swing. As a technolgical luddite who eschews social media my entry options are limited so my choice is a probably a hypothetical one , but I live in hope. Thanks Jessica. Lorraine UK

Now, with the app down loaded on my phone, I am able to read (and drool) over what the two of you post through out the week.
Keep it up ladies!

ReplyDeleteHi sweet Sanne, you're sincerely welcome. If your name is drawn as the winner, I will be sure to ask the fine folks at 1950s Glam to ensure your package is clearly marked as a gift, in the hopes of cutting down on that risk (which I totally understand, as we pay import/customs fees on nearly most items that we purchase abroad, or are sent from foreign countries, and have shipped into Canada, too).
