Vintage 365: Graphic 45's new Curtain Call line will have you singing with joy

Day 35 of Vintage 365

Last autumn (after several years of admiring this wonderfully creative craft from the sidelines and secretly wanting to get into it) I took up the hobby of scrapbooking. Doing so has proven to be one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made, and I'm all but kicking myself for not delving into this fantastic art earlier!

As you might imagine, I'm naturally drawn to scrapbooking products (and techniques, such as distressing) with a vintage slant to them. Several of the pages I've created so far have had a vintage/shabby chic feel to them, and I'm certain a great many more I'll design over time will as well Smile

I've found that I like to stay fairly abreast of new scrapbook product releases (if only to keep growing my already mammoth wish list ;D), and just about jumped with delight when I saw one of Graphic 45's latest lines.

For those who have encountered Graphic 45 before, this company produces scrapbooking product lines (of beautiful papers with matching paper embellishments and, more recently, stamps) that generally have a distinctly old fashioned/Victorian, vintage and/or highly whimsical feeling to them - which naturally make their items a great fit for vintage loving scrapbookers and other paper crafters.

One of Graphic 45's most recent lines is called Curtain Call, and is chocked to the hills with amazing early 20th century Hollywood and music industry related imagery that celebrates the great jazz age of the 1920s and 30s. From Charlie Chaplin to Clara Bow, Louis Armstrong to Moulin Rouge chorus line dancers, this marvellously fun line - which is done up entirely in shades of black and cream, for even more of an fantastic vintage feel - would be awesome for scrapbook pages, altered art projects, cards, ATCs, decoupage, gift wrapping, jewelry making, and home decor projects (amongst, I'm sure other creative uses, too!).

Curtain Call is definitely going on my aforementioned wish list, and for those of you who are interested in picking up this spunky, beautiful line yourself I've hunted around the web a bit and found that (online retailer) Cut at Home currently has the 12x12 Curtail Call paper pack (which includes 10 double-sided papers, and one page each of double-sided tags and borders) listed for the very reasonable price of $15.99.

*PS*

I plan on blogging about other vintage themed scrapbooking products that I come across in the future and would love to hear about your favourite such products, too!
